The teeth!

So Ben's other bottom front tooth came in on Saturday! Haven't been able to take a picture of them yet — everytime you open his mouth to look at them his tongue sticks out like a Pez dispenser! Tonight he fell asleep while eating so we took the opportunity to snap a photo of what will be his first two gorgeous white teeth :)

First teeth..

Benjamin's first tooth broke through the gums on Valentine's Day, and the other one this morning February 18th. Haven't been able to get a picture (they are not all that visible by camera) but they are there! And sharp little suckers! While chewing on my knuckle, one actually cut me!

We went to the doctor's this week as well for his 4 month shots and he is 17 lbs 3 oz. He was such a good boy :)

Mmmm... pablum and peaches!

We have just stared Ben on pablum once a day. This morning I added a teaspoon of peaches to it.. he seemed to enjoy it! It was also his first time in the high-chair.

Let's just say that at the moment I felt like the worst mother ever! While getting his overalls on yesterday morning, Ben managed to wiggle free from my arms and his legs went to jelly, making him stumble backwards and his forehead was rudely introduced to the wooden edge of his change table! I have NEVER seen a bruise and bump grow so quickly in my life. By the time he was in my arms, there was this huge lump and purple mark already!

But after calling the BC Nurseline and getting him looked at, he is just fine and now sports a lovely bruised lump on his forehead (just don't call him Lumpy.. he gets upset!).. Mom has calmed down and all is well in the Merriman household! Thank goodness that Mike works close to home!

On another note, as of yesterday Ben has started eating Pablum and is loving it! He also had two successful afternoon naps in his crib! My little boy is growing so quickly :)
